Grimoire — Secure Tattoo Portfolio for iPad
Secure portfolio for your iPad. Grimoire runs a looping slideshow for walk-ins, starts a local preview server so clients scan a QR and browse on their own phone — or locks your iPad in guest mode so they can flip through work without snooping around your camera roll. Your photos stay on your device, not in the cloud.
What Grimoire does
Lobby slideshow
Up to 24 photos in a session. Swipe to browse, double-tap to resume auto-advance. Ken Burns motion and crossfades keep the display alive during walk-in hours.
QR phone preview
A QR on the lobby screen opens a lighter, timed preview in Safari on the client's phone — same shop Wi-Fi, no app download. They see your work; you keep the iPad.
Guest lock — no snooping
Face ID or passcode artist exit gets you back to artist mode. Optional Guided Access adds a stronger kiosk lock so walk-ins cannot wander into Mail, Photos, or settings.
Wizard setup flow
Set up session → add photos → set lobby hours and phone preview minutes → start lobby display. Save grimoires to reopen later.
Local network only
Grimoire shares on your shop Wi-Fi for the QR handoff. No cloud account, no portfolio uploaded to our servers — keeps your work safe from casual thievery and screenshot scrapers.
